Villa Kalisha is a two bedroom villa that showcases the true beauty of Bali. Located in perfect seclusion, as you cross the pathway through the rice field to reach Villa Kalisha you know you have arrived some where truly incredible.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Balinese highlands, and perched on a jungle gorge the views are jaw dropping. The villa has been designed to enhance the natural surroundings, and give guests a romantic Balinese getaway, and long lasting experiences and memories.

• 4 full time staff, including our wonderful manager Nyos who will organise anything you want and take you on walks to explore the area.
• An excellent dedicated cook, Made who can prepare some great Balinese/Indonesian/Western dishes and drinks at low prices that cover our costs only.
• Fully equipped European quality guest kitchen, and outdoor dining looking over the pool.
• Traditional Authentic Balinese village life just minutes’ from the villa, including local temples, ceremonies, suckling pig makers.
• Walking distance to Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and many other scenic walks.
• Cooler due to the location of the villa being at a higher altitude than central Ubud. Which means cooler nights and pleasant day-time temperatures. As a result there is no air-conditioning as it is not needed.
• Central Ubud is only 20 minutes’ drive away, and our driver Dougie can take you there and back when you want (additional cost applies)
• Lots of easy trips from the villa, including Climbing Mount Batur, Exploring Ubud and surrounding Temples like Gunung Kawi and Tirta Empul, Monkey Forest and Visiting an Elephant Park.

Villa Kalisha,  is set in amongst lush green jungle and rice fields as far as the eye can see. There is no other building or person in sight; just ducks on the rice paddies below and the birds that accompany you at treetop level; it is totally private, nothing but peace and tranquility with sublime views down along the valley. The Villa is featured in the Periplus book ‘Bali Houses’ as the ‘villa that has it all and a standout vacation stay’. When you first arrive you are instantly hit by the amazing views, as it almost seems to hang suspended above a steep jungle filled gorge. In all directions there is nothing but trees, but 100m below you there are beautiful rice paddies.

Furnished by Christopher Noto, the exclusive Singapore furniture designer, Villa Kalisha offers understated romantic luxury, with a strong taste of Asian flare. Night time brings a special ambiance when the superb lighting further highlights the villa’s breath-taking location.

BEDROOMS

Upstairs Main Double Bedroom - King-size, Double Bed with balcony and large ensuite bathroom with standalone bathtub, all with epic jungle gorge views.

Downstairs Main Double Bedroom - King-size, Double Bed, ensuite bathroom with unique wooden bath and ornate fish pond.

Additional Bed/Bedroom Options - The standard villa rental rate is based on 2 bedrooms and 4 guests, however if you wish to have additional guests the upstairs TV Lounge, can be set up with two twin Futon Beds (Or king-size Double), it also has a balcony and ensuite bathroom with shower. The other two rooms are big enough for extra bed if needed.

Villa Kalisha is a fully serviced villa. With Villa Manager, Housekeeping, security and a dedicated Villa Chef. With extensive local knowledge our dedicated staff can help to arrange tours, trips or cars and taxis for you. So whether you want to enjoy the incredible waterfalls, rice fields and temples surrounding Ubud or venture into beautiful beaches of the East coast, they can assist you.  However once you set foot inside Villa Kalisha you may not want to leave.  Indulge in a massage or take a private yoga class. Our staff are ready to organise for you whatever you need to make your holiday incredible.

FAMILIES

If you’re traveling with children our staff offer free childminding, and all facilities that you need for smaller members of the family, including cot, highchair, plastic cutlery and plates, as well as toys, DVDs, books and all kids TV channels.
